ABOUT MISS USA

Founded in 1952, MISS USA® is one of the most recognized and enduring platforms for women in the world. It is a cultural institution woven into the fabric of American entertainment, fashion and media. For 75 years, the organization has showcased dynamic, accomplished women who reflect the confidence, diversity and ambition of modern America.

Each year, the winner of MISS USA advances to the MISS UNIVERSE® competition, where she walks in proud representation of the United States of America.

Since 1983, MISS USA has offered the MISS TEEN USA® title. These talented Teens are the brightest and the boldest young women in America. Focused on the “Power of Next,” teen state titleholders are given opportunities in fashion, leadership, scholarship and philanthropy.
