2026 OPEN CASTING

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

• You must be a citizen of the United States and will remain a citizen of the United States through the national pageant if you win a state title through this casting.

  • Applicants must have a valid US passport or ability to apply for one immediately, if ultimately selected as Miss USA or Miss Teen USA.

  • Applicants must produce an official verified form of identification.

• You are not required to be a resident now or previous to this casting opportunity in any of the states for which you may be considered.

• TEEN ELIGIBILITY:

  • Born in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011

  • Never married

  • Never birthed children

• MISS ELIGIBILITY:

  • Born during or before the year 2007

  • Any marital status - Unmarried, married, widowed, divorced

  • With or without children

• Entering an open call does not prohibit a candidate from competing at a state pageant.

  • If you have already competed in 2026 in one or two Miss USA or Miss Teen USA state pageants and were not awarded a state title, you may remain eligible to participate in the open casting call process.

  • If you participate in an open call and are not selected for a title, you may continue to pursue one or two Miss USA or Miss Teen USA state pageants where you hold residency.

• If you have already represented a state at Miss USA, Miss Teen USA or a country at Miss Universe, you are not eligible for this open casting call, unless you competed as a Teen and are now in the Miss division.

• If you are currently employed by or have ever worked in the past for the Miss Universe, Miss USA or Miss Teen USA Organizations or parent companies, you are not eligible for this open casting call.

• You must be of legal age to apply and pay your application fee for this casting. If you are not 18 or older, your parent or guardian will have to verify your participation in the application process to confirm your eligibility.

• If selected as an open call winner, you must be able to pay for your flight to the national pageant. Your official crown and sash, hotel accommodations and meals per the national competition guidelines will be provided for your time at the 2026 Miss USA or Miss Teen USA pageant.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:

• In order to be considered for this casting opportunity, you will be required to submit the following:

  • Due with application: Official headshot

  • Due with judging round advancement: 45 to 60-second video telling us more about yourself and explaining why you should be given the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss USA or Miss Teen USA.

  • Due with judging round advancement: 45 to 60-second video showcasing your walking and/or modeling abilities, such as previous stage competition footage or independently captured home video.

• Videos need not be professionally captured. They will be public only to your voters and the judges.

• Submission deadlines will be 11:59pm EST on the date advertised.

JUDGING & ANNOUNCEMENT PROCESS:

• Applicants will be subject to public voting prior to entering the judging round. Voting includes paid and unpaid options, including daily free votes.

• During the judging round, an independent panel of qualified judges will review qualified submissions.

• Open call winners and the states they will represent will be communicated personally prior to public announcement.

• Official announcements will be made on the official Miss USA and Teen USA Instagram accounts. Any unauthorized publishing or posting by the winners of this casting may result in disqualification and rescission of the title awarded.

• Further details will be provided to the winners for official national competition preparation and submission as well as state coronation events.

2026 OPEN CALL SCHEDULE:

• Application for the first open call will open on May 20 2026 with applications closing on June 2, 2026. Winners will be announced on June 28, 2026. The states included are: Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont.

• Application for the second open call will open in late June 2026 with applications closing on July 14, 2026. Winners will be announced on July 26, 2026. The states included are: Colorado, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming.
