Audrey Eckert, a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, was crowned Miss USA 2025 on October 24, 2025, becoming only the second woman from Nebraska to take the national title. Her participation at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand was nothing short of fantastic.

"The moment Nebraska was called as Miss USA 2025, that's when I said to myself, 'Here we go, my life has changed,'" Eckert told Business Insider after she was crowned on October 24. "I knew I was going to be ready to hit the ground running."

The headpiece was created over the course of thousands of hours, and it was built using hundreds of exquisite materials. It's also dually representative of the pageant's 74-year history and its recent entrance into a fresh, modern era under new leadership.

The new prize package for the Miss Teen USA winner includes a feature in Teen Vogue, $25,000 in cash, and a four-year scholarship at Mississippi State University — where Carver is a freshman — if they choose to accept it.
